Schneider Kreuznach Cinegon 10mm f/1.8

Lens made by Schneider Kreuznach.

Produced both in C mount and C RX mount (for Bolex Reflex cameras). Mine is C mount version. RX version is indicated by its marking.

The image it produces is not so sharp but has the unique look.

 

The Coating

The purple coating. The image shot with the lens gets blue-ish tint.

 

The Diaphragm

The 5-blade diaphragm forms a pentagon-like aperture.

 

The diaphragm can be fully closed. 

 

The Barrels

The focus barrel goes beyond 0.2m mark.

The T/stops are indicated next to the f/stops in green lines. It loses about 1/3 stops of light in transmission. It "clicks" at each stops.
