Schneider 16mm f/2

Schneider Kreuznach Cine-Xenon 16mm f/2

Lens made by the famous Schneider Kreuznach.

Produced both in C mount and C RX mount (for Bolex Reflex cameras). Mine is C mount version. RX version has a marking that indicates the version somewhere on the lens.

The lens covers Super 16 frame, but vignetting occurs when the focus is set at infinity and the iris is set at f/22.

The image it produces is not so sharp but has the unique look.

The Diaphragm

The 5-blade pentagon diaphragm.

When you push the green pin, you can fully close the diaphragm.

The Barrels

The focus barrel goes slightly beyond the 0.8 ft mark as you can see in the photo above.

The aperture barrel "clicks" at each stops. T/stops are marked in the green line next to each f/stops.
